BPO is inviting applications from South Africa, Unemployed Youths between ages of 18 to 29 to join our 12-month learnership program.
Preference will be given to the children of BPO employees.
As members of the Bidest Group Ltd, BPO is one of the largest providers of in-port logistics in South Africa with operations in every commercial cargo port in South Africa.
The company’s activities include Stevedoring, Warehousing & Terminal operating services as well as Transportation.
The learners will enter a 12 Month fixed term contract with the company, during which time they will undergo both on-the-job practical entry level experience and classroom training, resulting in a National Qualification upon successful completion.
The learnerships available are:
National Certificate: Freight Handling: This learnership equips learners with the skills needed to handle, store, and move freight safely and efficiently within the logistics environment.
General Education and Training Certificate (GETC) in Transport: This foundational programme introduces learners to the transport industry, focusing on basic operational and safety practices across various transport modes.
Minimum Requirements:
- South African youth aged 18-29 years
- Unemployed
- Must have passed Matric with a minimum 60% overall average
- Eager to pursue a career in logistics or transport
