GENERAL MANAGER: OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE
POSITION OBJECTIVE
The General Manager of Operations and Maintenance (O&M) is responsible for the national oversight over the continuous monitoring and optimisation of the National Road Network and related infrastructure, through interventions aimed at ensuring asset preservation, the safety of road users and pedestrians, and the effective day-to-day operation of the National Road Network. Responsibilities stretch over multiple disciplines including traffic control, Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), road safety, toll and tunnels, facilities management, routine road maintenance (RRM) and electrical engineering.

PROJECT MANAGER X2
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
To ensure project management in respect of specific norms and standards, according to relevant legislation, and the efficient management of resources, time and budgets associated with projects under the incumbent’s control. To develop and maintain excellent working relationships with external stakeholders and to ensure required business results.
PROVINCIAL HEADS (X6)
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
To ensure the sustainability, planning, maintenance, improvement, expansion, and operation on the National Road Network (both toll and non-toll) pro-actively to achieve its vision for the economic benefit of the South African community. To plan, lead, direct and manage the provincial team in the provision of effective, high quality and consistently applied support functions, at strategic level. To develop a culture, philosophy, and people and leadership capability, which is in keeping with the strategies and objectives of SANRAL.
SENIOR FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
To support the financial decision-making process by collecting, analyzing, investigating, and reporting financial data. This includes day-to-day accounting activities, month-end, quarterly and annual reporting, all while ensuring adequate financial control and compliance with the relevant legislation and reporting standards.
SENIOR INTERNAL AUDITOR
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
The successful incumbent will be responsible for supporting Senior Manager: IA and other unit leadership to execute the operational plan and other allocated tasks. The main responsibilities are to provide assurance as to the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls by conducting value-adding risk-based audits in accordance with The International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing to assist SANRAL in the accomplishment of the operating objectives.
SENIOR INTERNAL AUDITOR
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
