POST 1: OCCUPATIONAL HYGIENIST

EMPLOYEE GROUP: PERMANENT

LOCATION: HEAD OFFICE

REFERENCE NUMBER: OH05042023

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Occupational Health and Safety.

COMPETENCIES:

  • Application of SHEQ Impact Assessment methodologies
  • In-depth knowledge of SHE legislation, including NEMA
  • Knowledge of Integrated Environmental Management Systems
  • SHE administrative principles and practices
  • Conservative Management and Biodiversity Report writing and presentation skills
  • Planning and organization
  • JCPZ policy and procedure framework
  • JCPZ mandate, strategy and stakeholder analysis
  • Alignment with JCPZ values

POST 2: QUALITY ASSURANCE OFFICER

EMPLOYEE GROUP: PERMANENT

LOCATION: HEAD OFFICE

REFERENCE NUMBER: QA05042023

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Diploma or Degree in Horticulture or related field/ environment
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Service Monitoring
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in supporting programme / project monitoring and reporting role
  • Experience in municipal environment is desirable.

COMPETENCIES:

  • Practical knowledge of TQM management principles and methods
  • Knowledge of MFMA
  • Ability to negotiate with stakeholders
  • Report writing and presentation skills
  • Data Analysis and Judgement
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Computer literacy
