Available Apprenticeship Programmes (36 Months)
Electrician
Minimum Requirements:
- NCV Level 2-4: Electrical Infrastructure Construction (21 subjects completed), OR
- N2 – N6 Electrical Engineering (with N2 Electrical Trade Theory / N3 Electro Technology)
Diesel Mechanic
Minimum Requirements:
- NCV Level 2-4: Engineering Related Design (Automotive Repairs & Maintenance; 21 subjects completed), OR
- N2 – N6 Mechanical Engineering (with N2 Diesel or Motor Trade Theory and/or N3 Mechano Technology)
Welder
Minimum Requirements:
- NCV Level 2-4: Engineering Related Design (Fabrication; 21 subjects completed), OR
- N2 – N6 Mechanical Engineering (with N2 Plater Theory / N2 Welder Trade Theory and/or N3 Mechano Technology)
Plumber
Minimum Requirements:
- NCV Level 2-4: Civil Engineering & Building Construction (21 subjects completed; Plumbing as Vocational Subject), OR
- N2 – N6 Civil Engineering (with N2 Plumbing Trade Theory)
Requirements
To apply, you must:
- Be under 35 years old
- Live within Elias Motsoaledi Local Municipality
- Meet the qualification requirements listed above
- Have completed NCV or N-courses in the relevant field
- Be currently unemployed
- Persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply
- Learners who previously studied at Sekhukhune TVET College will receive first preference
All applications will undergo an assessment process, and successful candidates will sign an ETQA Agreement and an Employment Contract for the apprenticeship duration.
