Minimum Requirements
To qualify for these positions, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Possess a completed Matric certificate.
- May be an unemployed teacher, retired teacher/lecturer, respected community member, or graduate.
- Completed Report 191 Business Studies N6, Report 191 Engineering Studies N6, or NCV Level 4.
- Must not be sitting for the examinations at any TVET institution.
- Willing to disclose if a relative, partner, close friend, or neighbour is writing the examination.
- Must not be enrolled in a learnership or internship programme at the time of application.
Key Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be entrusted with important duties, including:
- Conducting examinations in strict accordance with national policy.
- Being available during exam sessions between 07h00 and 15h00 on weekdays, with a typical session lasting about five (5) hours.
- Supporting the examination process through:
- Candidate invigilation.
- Distribution and collection of examination materials.
- Maintaining order, fairness, and confidentiality in the exam environment.
- Demonstrating strong oral and written communication skills.
- Displaying professionalism, reliability, trustworthiness, and the ability to interact effectively with students and colleagues.
