What the Programme Offers
This learnership will give participants hands-on training in film and TV production operations while also providing a strong theoretical foundation. You will be exposed to multiple aspects of the industry, from pre-production planning to editing and final delivery.
Learners will work with real production tools and industry-standard software, developing a portfolio of skills that will set them apart in the job market.
Key focus areas include:
- Adobe Creative Suite Skills: Photoshop, Audition, Illustrator, and Premier Pro.
- Camera Operations: Training in capturing professional video footage.
- Post-Production: Editing and sound design.
- Industry Exposure: Practical insights into the media and entertainment industry.
Location and Stipend
- Location: Gauteng
- Stipend: R3,000.00 per month (based on successful attendance of all scheduled programme activities).
The stipend ensures learners can focus on their training while receiving financial support during the programme.
Who Can Apply?
This learnership is targeted at youth with a passion for media who meet the following qualifying criteria:
- Minimum of Grade 10, 11, or 12 completed.
- Updated CV.
- Certified ID Copy (not older than 3 months).
- Certified School Report (Grade 10/11) or Matric Certificate.
- Strong interest in film and TV with some knowledge of Adobe tools and camera work.
Applicants should be creative, eager to learn, and committed to attending all scheduled programme activities.
