False Bay TVET College, in partnership with the Education, Training and Development Practices Sector Education and Training Authority (ETDP SETA), is proud to announce an exciting 24-month full-time Internship Programme designed to empower South African graduates with workplace experience. With a stipend ranging from R3 500 to R6 500 per month (depending on qualifications), this programme offers a valuable opportunity for young graduates to step into the world of work and gain the skills necessary for professional growth.
The initiative is aligned with South Africa’s national skills development goals, focusing on equipping unemployed graduates with practical knowledge, workplace exposure, and mentorship. Successful candidates will be placed in various departments across the college, developing industry-ready skills that enhance employability.
Internship Opportunities Available
- Administration Support
Duties:
- Provide clerical and administrative support to departmental teams.
- Assist with filing, record-keeping, data entry, and office coordination.
- Prepare documents, reports, and correspondence.
- Support event planning and logistical arrangements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum: National Diploma/Degree in Office Administration, Business Administration, or Public Management.
- Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
- Support Services – Inclusive Education
Duties:
- Assist in creating inclusive learning environments for students with disabilities.
- Provide support with accessibility resources and learning aids.
- Work alongside lecturers to adapt learning materials.
- Promote inclusive policies within the institution.
Qualifications:
- Minimum: Diploma/Degree in Education, Inclusive Education, Psychology, or Social Sciences.
- Knowledge of inclusive learning practices will be an advantage.
- Support Services – Wellness and Extracurricular Activities
Duties:
- Support student wellness programmes, including health awareness campaigns.
- Assist with organizing sports, arts, and cultural activities.
- Provide guidance and peer support for student well-being.
- Help with reporting and administration of extracurricular activities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum: Diploma/Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Health Promotion, or Sports Management.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills required.
- E-Learning
Duties:
- Assist with the development and management of digital learning platforms.
- Support lecturers in uploading and structuring online course content.
- Provide technical support to students and staff on e-learning systems.
- Contribute to research on innovative digital education tools.
Qualifications:
- Minimum: Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or E-Learning Development.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard) will be advantageous.
- Marketing
Duties:
- Assist with planning and executing college marketing campaigns.
- Support content creation for social media, newsletters, and promotional material.
- Conduct market research to enhance student recruitment strategies.
- Engage in event coordination and branding activities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum: Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or Communication.
- Creative thinking and strong communication skills required.
