Internship Opportunities Available
The internship will run in Gauteng and will provide selected candidates with mentorship, training, and exposure to diverse client portfolios. A total of 10 internship posts are available across three departments:
- External Audit Department (AGSA & Assurance) – 6 Posts
Interns in this department will gain in-depth exposure to financial audits, compliance reviews, assurance processes, and professional reporting. Working alongside experienced auditors, you will build skills that align with international best practices. - Internal Audit Department – 2 Posts
Here, interns will work on risk assessments, governance processes, and internal control evaluations. The role prepares graduates for careers in internal audit and enterprise risk management. - Counseling and Forensics Department – 2 Posts
This stream will introduce interns to investigative auditing, forensic accounting, and fraud prevention strategies, equipping them with specialized skills critical for both public and private sector environments.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
To qualify, applicants must meet the following academic and professional requirements:
- Relevant Qualifications:
- BCom Accounting / Bachelor of Accounting Science
- BCom Internal Auditing / BTech Internal Auditing
- Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (PGDA) / CTA
- BCom Forensic Accounting / BCom Law with Auditing exposure
- Financial Management
- Any related finance, auditing, or accounting qualification from a recognized South African university or university of technology
- Additional Requirements:
- Must not have participated in a similar programme before
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Willingness to travel nationally to clients when required
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
