The Rhodes Scholarship Programme stands as one of the most prestigious and competitive international scholarship awards in the world. Established in 1902 through the will of Cecil John Rhodes, the scholarship offers an extraordinary opportunity for outstanding students from across the globe—including Southern Africa—to pursue postgraduate studies at the University of Oxford. The 2026 intake continues this legacy, inviting driven, intellectually curious, and socially committed individuals to join a global network of Rhodes Scholars.
