Main Duties of a Lecturer:
- Assist with the registrations of students and student induction procedures, Planning of classroom work.
- Prepare and deliver lectures to students as per work plan; Manage own class attendance records, assessments; test and year marks and all other related duties;
- Maintain discipline among students; Prepare and manage POA’s and POE’s;
- Report on monthly basis to the senior lecturer on the prescribed format; Liaise with students and parents; Organise educational excursion.
Educational Minimum Requirements: Temporary Lecturing Posts:
Minimum requirements for PL 1 posts in Business Studies Program and Fundamentals: Relevant 3-year qualification Diploma/ Degree plus Education Qualification and registration with the South African Council of Educators (SACE)
Minimum requirements for PL 1 posts in Engineering Studies Program: Relevant 3-year qualification Diploma/ Degree; N6 plus Trade Test. An Education Qualification is an added advantage and registration with the South African Council of Educators (SACE)
APPLICATIONS:
A comprehensive Curriculum Vitae and recently certified copies (not older than three months) of all relevant qualifications and transcripts (Academic records) which includes Grade 12, ID document and SACE Certificate. The successful candidates will be expected to bring original certified copies and a signed new Z83 form when invited to interviews.
