KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Department of Social Development in partnership with the Health and Welfare Sector Education and Training Authority is contributing towards skills development initiatives for the youth in the province by providing opportunities to unemployed students to gain workplace experience in various work disciplines.
Applications are invited from TVET Students to participate in the Work Integrated Learning Programme (WIL) that will run for a period of 18 months contract, which will provide them with valuable work experience to fulfil their academic requirements towards completing their qualifications. The students will receive a monthly stipend of R3500
Applications are invited from TVET College students who have completed N6 who resides within KwaZulu-Natal. Students must have completed N6 waiting for work integrated programme (WIL) and have never participated in a WIL Programme from National, Provincial and Local government before.
They must be prepared to relocate to any of the offices listed below at own costs, Candidates must be computer literate, prepared to undergo a selection process that will include a structured interview.

Applications must be on a fully completed Z83 form obtainable here with a detailed CV including contact telephone number, physical and postal address, copies of ID and qualifications including N6 Certificate(not statement of results), proof of residence and an affidavit indicating that the applicant has never benefited from the Internship programme before.
Applicants must indicate the specific area of placement between Head office in Pietermaritzburg and in twelve District Offices respectively. Applications must state clearly the business unit they are applying for and quote the relevant reference number.
