Sedibeng TVET College has opened an exciting opportunity for unemployed students who have successfully completed their Report 191/NATED qualifications at the College. This initiative aims to connect graduates with industry by providing Work Integrated Learning (WIL), internships, and traineeships, ensuring that students gain the practical experience needed to complement their theoretical studies.
The programme’s purpose is to create a comprehensive database of eligible graduates, which the College will use whenever placement funding becomes available. This proactive step ensures that students are ready and prioritised for opportunities as they arise, bridging the gap between college learning and real workplace exposure.
Who Can Apply?
The opportunity is open to Sedibeng TVET College students only who have completed their Report 191/NATED programmes in:
- Business Studies (N4 – N6 Certificates)
- Engineering Studies (N4 – N6 Certificates)
Note: At present, limited spaces are available for Boilermaking/Fabrication.
Important Application Requirements
Applicants must prepare and upload the following documents:
- A comprehensive updated CV
- Certified copies of all qualifications, including:
- Grade 12 certificate
- N4, N5, and N6 certificates
- Academic records/transcripts
- Certified copy of ID (not older than 6 months)
All certifications must be valid and recent. Applications missing these documents may not be considered.
Key Exclusion Criteria
Students who have already participated in industry projects or workplace placements through internships, learnerships, WIL, or SETA-funded programmes to obtain their diploma will not be eligible. This ensures that priority is given to new applicants who have not yet had the chance to gain practical work-based learning.
Why This Matters
Work Integrated Learning is a vital step in securing employment. By joining the Sedibeng TVET College WIL programme, students not only complete their diploma requirements but also gain industry-relevant skills, boost employability, and improve their chances of entering the job market confidently.
How to Apply
Interested candidates should prepare their application documents and upload them as per the College’s application instructions. Since this is a database-driven placement system, applying now ensures your details are ready for immediate consideration when funding and spaces become available.
