Internship Opportunities Across Provinces
SANRAL has made several internship placements available in different provincial offices, ensuring that aspiring professionals from diverse backgrounds can access these opportunities:
- Gauteng Provincial Office: 38 Ida Street; Menlo Park; Pretoria x 3
- Eastern Cape Provincial Office: 20 Shoreward Drive; Baywest; Port Elizabeth – x 1
- Eastern Cape Provincial Office: Ndwendwe Lodge; Flagstaff Office – x 1
- Kwa-Zulu Natal Provincial Office: 58 van Eck Place; Mkondeni; Pietermaritzburg – x 2
STIPEND: R8,000.00
Internship Objective
To provide support and assistance in project administration across multiple projects to a centralized. Project Team, whilst developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with all SANRAL stakeholders to ensure required business results.
Minimum Requirements
- National Diploma in Project Management and/or Civil Engineering.
- No work experience required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support in administrative service to the Engineering Team;
- Attend and participate in project meetings;
- When required, record and produce accurate and concise minutes of the above meetings timeously;
- Assist Project Managers with editing and updating relevant parts of the consultant’s tender documents;
- Ensure timeous compilation of draft presentations for tender clarification when required;
- Provide SCM with the technical corrections and additions to be included in the Addenda;
- Assist in typing letters, agendas, minutes and other documents as required. Upload and correctly save the documents to the document management system (EDMS) relevant to the Design & Construction division;
- Assist in ensure efficient and accurate typing of correspondence.
- Ensure correct profiling of documents on OpenText;
- Assist in ensuring that project information is available for all internal and external audits;
- Provide support by ensuring accurate and proficient uploading of documents and drawings for project implementation and close out;
- Make travel arrangements for local and international trips by Project Managers Including memo, travel insurance, visa applications, etc.).
- Ensure a general business knowledge of SANRAL.
