MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Matric (attach certified copy)
- BSc / B. Eng. in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering or related field (attach certified copy)
- Registered or Register-able as a Professional Engineer with ECSA
- Code 08 driver’s license (attach certified copy)
- 4-5 years’ experience in OHTE and 3 kV DC Substations
Added Advantage:
- Master’s degree
- Government Certificate of Competence (GCC)

POST 2: TECHNICAL SUPERINTENDENT
REFERENCE NUMBER: CMR/HR/REC/22-11/10

LOCATION: WESTERN CAPE REGION

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Matric or N3 Electrical Engineering Heavy Current (attach certified copy)
- High Voltage Cat “A” Red license overhead Track equipment
- Code 10 drivers’ licence with PDP (attach certified copy)
- Computer literacy (attach certified copy)
- 3 years’ experience as a traction linesman with Category “A” red licence (attach certified copy)
- 3 years’ experience as a Technical Supervisor with category “A” Red licence (attach certified copy)
- Must be able to lift at least 50kg
- Must be able to work at heights
- Must be willing to work 7 days a week
- Must be willing to work abnormal hours or shifts
- Must not be colour blind
- Tool handling

POST 3: TECHNICAL ASSISTANT X2

- Qualified Trade Tested Electrician (attach certified copy)
- High Voltage Cat “A” Brown license
- Drivers licence code 8 / 10 (attach certified copy)
- Successfully completed the Electrical Traction System course (attach certified copy)
- 2 Years of experience as an Electrician
