The Following TVET College invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for their Post Level 1 TVET Colleges Various Lecturing / Teaching Posts. The closing date for applications are the 17th and 22nd April 2025
VUSELELA TVET COLLEGE
POST 1: LECTURER IN ENGINEERING STUDIES
REQUIREMENTS:
- National Senior Certificate/Grade 12/Standard 10/NCV Level 4.
- A recognized three (3) years National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Engineering Studies.
- A professional teacher’s qualifications.
- Valid SACE certificate.
- Be able to teach Electrical Systems & Construction and Workshop Practice.
POST 2: LECTURER IN ACCOUNTING, BUSINESS STUDIES OR RELATED
REQUIREMENTS:
- National Senior Certificate/Grade 12/Standard 10/NC(V) Level 4.
- A recognized three-year B degree/National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Accounting, Business Studies or related fields.
- A professional teacher’s qualifications.
- A valid SACE certificate
- Be able to teach Education & Development and Human & Social Development.
POST 3: LECTURER IN ACCOUNTING, BUSINESS STUDIES OR RELATED
REQUIREMENTS:
- National Senior Certificate/Grade 12/Standard 10/NC(V) Level 4.
- A recognized three-year B degree/National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Accounting, Business Studies or related fields.
- A professional teacher’s qualifications.
- A valid SACE certificate.
- Be able to teach Accounting and Computer Financial systems.
POST 4: LECTURER IN EDUCATION
REQUIREMENTS:
- National Senior Certificate/Grade 12/Standard 10/NC(V) Level 4.
- A recognized three-year B degree/National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Education.
- A professional teacher’s qualifications.
- A valid SACE certificate
- Be able to teach NC(V) L2, L3 and L4 English First Additional language.
POST 5: LECTURER MATHEMATICS OR RELATED
REQUIREMENTS:
- National Senior Certificate/Grade 12/Standard 10/NC(V) Level 4.
- A recognized three-year B degree/National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Mathematics or related field.
- A professional teacher’s qualification.
- A valid SACE certificate
- Be able to teach Mathematics.
POST 6: LECTURER IN ENGINEERING STUDIES, IT, COMPUTER SCIENCES, OR RELATED
REQUIREMENTS:
- National Senior Certificate/Grade 12/Standard 10/NC(V) Level 4.
- A recognized three-year B degree/National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Engineering Studies, IT, Computer Sciences, or related fields.
- A professional teacher’s qualifications.
- A valid SACE certificate
- Be able to teach Robotics, Programming or System Development.
POST 7: LECTURER IN ACCOUNTING, BUSINESS STUDIES OR RELATED FIELDS.
REQUIREMENTS:
- National Senior Certificate/Grade 12/Standard 10/NC(V) Level 4.
- A recognized three-year B degree/National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Accounting, Business Studies or related fields.
- A teacher’s qualifications.
- Valid SACE certificate.
- Must be able to teach Office Practice, Computer Literacy (LO), Information Processing and Computer Practice.
POST 8: LECTURER IN ACCOUNTING, BUSINESS STUDIES OR RELATED
REQUIREMENTS:
- National Senior Certificate/Grade 12/Standard 10/NC(V) Level 4.
- A recognized three-year B degree/National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Accounting, Business Studies or related fields.
- A professional teacher’s qualifications.
- A valid SACE certificate.
- Be able to teach Life Orientation, Computer Literacy and Office Data Processing.
PORT ELIZABETH TVET COLLEGE
POST 1: PLP FOUNDATIONAL ENGLISH LECTURER
REQUIREMENTS:
- Incumbent should have a relevant Senior Certificate / Grade 12/ NCV Certificate (Level 4).
- Diploma or Degree in Education with English First Additional Language as a major
POST 2: NCV ELECTRICAL INFRASTRUCTURE AND CONSTRUCTION LECTURER
REQUIREMENTS:
- Incumbent should have a relevant Senior Certificate / Grade 12/ NCV Certificate (Level 4).
- Diploma/ Degree in Education with Electrical Engineering as a major subject/ Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering with a Teachers Qualification
- SACE Certificate/ Registration
POST 3: NCV ENGINEERING RELATED DESIGN LECTURER
REQUIREMENTS:
- Incumbent should have a relevant Senior Certificate / Grade 12/ NCV Certificate (Level 4).
- Diploma/ Degree in Education with Mechanical Engineering as a major subject/ Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Teachers Qualification
- SACE Certificate/ Registration
POST 4: NCV MECHATRONICS LECTURER
REQUIREMENTS:
- Incumbent should have a relevant Senior Certificate / Grade 12/ NCV Certificate (Level 4).
- Diploma/ Degree in Education with Mechatronics as a major subject/ Diploma or Degree in Mechatronics Engineering with a Teachers Qualification
- SACE Certificate/ Registration
POST 5: NCV MATHEMATICS LECTURER
REQUIREMENTS:
- Incumbent should have a relevant Senior Certificate / Grade 12/ NCV Certificate (Level 4).
- Diploma/ Degree in Education with Mathematics as a major subject/ Diploma or Degree in Mathematics with a Teachers Qualification
- SACE Certificate/ Registration
POST 6: LIFE ORIENTATION LECTURER
REQUIREMENTS:
- Incumbent should have a relevant Senior Certificate / Grade 12/ NCV Certificate (Level 4).
- Diploma/ Degree in Education with Life Orientation & Computers as a major subject/ Diploma or Degree in Life Orientation with computers and a Teachers Qualification/
- SACE Certificate/ Registration
POST 7: ENGLISH FIRST ADDITIONAL LANGUAGE/ COMMUNICATION LECTURER X2 POSTS
REQUIREMENTS:
- Incumbent should have a relevant Senior Certificate / Grade 12/ NCV Certificate (Level 4).
- Diploma/ Degree in Education with English or Communication as a major subject/ Diploma or Degree in English or Communication with Teachers Qualification ▪
- SACE Certificate/ Registration
