About the Programme
The internship is a two-year contract designed to provide structured on-the-job training aligned with the National Treasury’s Municipal Finance Management Programme (MFMP). Interns will gain hands-on experience in various financial management disciplines such as budgeting, revenue management, asset control, procurement, internal auditing, and financial reporting.

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT INTERN X 6: TWO-YEAR CONTRACT
STIPEND: R 100 000, 00 per annum
Requirements of the Internship:
- The candidates should hold a 3-year National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree with majors in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Risk Management and Auditing.
The intern will sign an internship agreement which is in addition to the employment contract. The effect of the agreement is to ensure commitment to the programme which require, amongst other, full participation in the educational and workplace assignments and observance of policies and procedures.
