About the Mpumalanga Department of Health

The Mpumalanga Department of Health is mandated to provide accessible, quality health services to the province’s residents. Who Can Apply?

To qualify for the Medical Officer Grade 1 position, you must have:

  • An MBChB degree that qualifies you for registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner.

  • Contribute to academic and training programmes within the hospital.
  • Take part in clinical audits and continuous professional development activities.
