JOB TITLE: MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT (SECURITY)
- Reference No: MA01 – FTC
- Location: VIDA – Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital
- Job Type: Temporary
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Guide and patrol VIDA parking areas and Clinics.
- Monitor access points.
- Investigate and report security breaches.
- Control traffic. Attend to maintenance when required.
- Move furniture as and when required.
- Repair furniture as and when required.
- Assist with the venue construction for new projects.
- Oversee the access control of office block.
- Opening and locking of Unit facilities.
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
- Matric/ Grade 12
DESIRABLE ADDITIONAL EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Basic Electrical knowledge/experience.
- Background in security added advantage.
- Computer skills (MS office package).
- Friendly attitude. Sense of urgency.
- Time conscious.
- Ability to work with low supervision.
REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 1-2 years’ work experience in a similar role.
