The apprenticeship is a well-known technical training system, including practical and theoretical components offered in a designated trade to achieve artisan status. Apprentices are required in the following trades:
- Apprentice: Fitter X4
- Apprentice: Armature Winder X2
- Apprentice: Rigger X1
- Apprentice: Turner X2
- Apprentice: Electrician X3
- Apprentice: Welders X2
- Apprentice: Boilermaker X1
- Apprentice: Millwright X3
Minimum qualifications and attributes required.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- N3 with 4 subjects, including the relevant trade theory with minimum D symbol for Mathematics and Physical science
- NC(V) level 4 with minimum D symbol for: Mathematics and another subject on engineering and related design or electrical infrastructure construction
- S1 or higher
- Strong technical aptitude
Selection Process:
- Previous technical experience or training will be an advantage
- The selection process will consist of psychometric test and interview
- Pre-employment medical assessment
- Criminal record checks
- Qualification verification
- Only 18 candidates will be employed
