POST: TECHNICIAN: ICT SUPPORT SERVICES
- Duration: Twelve (12) Months Fixed Term Contract
- Job Grade: C2
- Division: Strategy and Information Management
- Location: Seda National Office
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To provide technical support services for Seda hardware, software, telephony, backup and business application systems.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Provide technical support service for the customers on hardware, software, network, IP telephony and operating system
- Install and maintain approved software and hardware connecting users to networks and providing initial training
- Participate in ICT strategic initiatives in line with Seda ICT strategic plan
- Coordinate ICT Support Service procurement activities
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:
- Matric (NQF Level 4) and a Diploma (NQF Level 5/ 12 months certificate) in Information and Communication Technology coupled with recognised industry certifications.
- Valid South African drivers licence
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE:
3 – 4 years’ experience in Information Communication Technology environment of which 2 years should have been performing Technical Support related functions
