- Chief Director: Corporate Communication (Ref No: DHET 01/10/2025)
- Salary: R1 436 022 per annum (Level 14, all-inclusive package)

- Requirements: NQF 7 in Communication, Journalism, or Public Relations; at least 5 years’ experience in senior management; extensive knowledge of media, branding, stakeholder engagement, and government communications.
- Duties: Lead DHET’s communications strategy, manage public and media relations, internal communication systems, publications, branding, and call centre services.
- Chief Director: National Examination and Assessment (Ref No: 01/10/2025)
- Salary: R1 494 900 per annum (Level 14, all-inclusive package)

- Requirements: NQF 7 in Education/Public Management; 10 years’ relevant work experience; postgraduate qualification in Education an advantage.
- Duties: Manage national TVET and CET examinations, oversee assessment systems, certification, marking services, and ensure credibility of national exams.
- Chief Director: Policy, Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (Ref No: 02/10/2025)
- Salary: R1 494 900 per annum (Level 14, all-inclusive package)

- Requirements: NQF 7 in Public Management, Policy, or Development Studies; 10 years’ experience in public sector planning, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Duties: Oversee policy development, strategic and annual planning, government-wide monitoring and evaluation systems, and data-driven reporting.
- Director: Examination Management and Monitoring (Ref No: DHET 03/10/2025)
- Salary: R1 266 714 per annum (Level 13, all-inclusive package)

- Duties: Lead examination administration including registration, monitoring, question paper distribution, irregularity handling, and compliance.

- Salary: R1 266 714 per annum (Level 13, all-inclusive package)
- Centre: Umfolozi TVET College
- Requirements: NQF 7 in Education; postgraduate qualification an advantage; 8 years’ experience in Post-School Education and Training management.
- Duties: Manage the college’s governance, finances, curricula delivery, partnerships, student support systems, and stakeholder relations.
- Deputy Director: Systems Administration (Ref No: DHET 05/10/2025)
- Salary: R1 059 105 per annum (Level 12)
- Centre: Pretoria
- Focus: Manage examination systems for TVET and CET colleges, handle data queries, testing, auditing, and system access reviews.
- Deputy Director: Strategic Planning (Ref No: DHET 06/10/2025)

- Focus: Oversee counselling, student career guidance, leadership development, sports and cultural activities, and disability mainstreaming within the college.
- Assistant Director: Internal Audit and Quality Management (Ref No: UMF70/10/2025)
- Salary: R468 459 per annum (Level 9)
- Centre: Umfolozi TVET College, Central Office
- Focus: Implement internal audit plans, support the audit committee, develop and monitor quality management systems, and ensure compliance with policies.
