The City of Joburg is recruiting unemployed persons to apply for their Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP). The closing date for applications is the 30th May 2025

POSTS: EPWP RECRUITMENT

  • Department: Social Development
  • Stipend: R5,000.00 per month

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be a South African Citizen
  • Matric or NQF Level 4 qualification
  • Basic computer or typing skills
  • Ability to collect and capture data
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team
  • Must be registered on the ESP (Expanded Social Package)

ADVANTAGEOUS EXPERIENCE

Experience or passion in working with:

  • Communities
  • Displaced persons, migrants
  • Youth, women, elderly, people with disabilities
  • Child-headed households
  • Substance abuse clients

 

 

Participation in:

  • Field services
  • Door-to-door campaigns
  • Blitz operations

Performing general duties like:

  • Carrying stock
  • Packaging
  • Cleaning

Certificates in:

  • Community Work
  • Social Auxiliary Work
  • Administration
