ECPTA Finance Graduate Internship Programme for 2025

ECPTA Finance Graduate Internship Programme for 2025

The Eastern Cape Parks and Tourism Agency (ECPTA), a beacon of conservation and tourism development in South Africa, is once again taking bold strides to empower the province’s youth. In a bid to tackle youth unemployment and bridge the gap between academia and the workplace, ECPTA is inviting unemployed graduates and final-year students in the Finance field to apply for its Workplace-Based Learning (WIL) and Graduate Internship Programme.

This initiative is more than just a placement opportunity; it is a gateway to professional growth, practical experience, and long-term employability in the public finance and tourism sectors.

About the ECPTA Internship & WIL Programme

The ECPTA WIL and Graduate Internship Programme is designed to support the development of young finance professionals by equipping them with real-world skills in a structured learning environment. Through this initiative, selected candidates will be placed within ECPTA offices to gain hands-on experience that aligns with their field of study—especially in Finance, Accounting, or Financial Management.

Whether you are a recent graduate or a student needing practical experience to complete your qualification, this programme is tailored to launch your career.

  • Youth between the ages of 18 and 35.

  • Networking Opportunities: Work with finance professionals and gain exposure to government finance processes.
  • Certification: Upon completion, interns may receive a certificate of participation or reference to boost their employability.
