Job purpose

To implement, monitor, maintain and support backup and recovery systems in order to ensure the availability, integrity and recoverability of organisational data

Grade 12

The following relevant technical knowledge will be an added advantage:

Experience with backup solutions such as Veeam Backup and Replication, Veritas NetBackup, Commvault or Microsoft Azure Backup; knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration; familiarity with virtualisation platforms such as VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V

At least one to two years’ experience in ICT, supporting enterprise backup and recovery environments

Computer literacy

Must undergo a criminal record check and such a person shall allow their fingerprints to be taken by the Tshwane Metro Police Department at own cost
