Job Description

Performs simple clerical duties by applying office procedures including answering calls, managing basic financial transactions and recording, typing or word processing, filing, and other ad-hoc activities to increase efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Administration
Tasks may include processing Max LSI requests, maintaining accurate records, entering relevant information, and supporting the administration of Lumpsum Investments, Transfer In/Out instructions, Disinvestments, Profit and Loss reporting, and ROT01 transactions.

Work Scheduling and Allocation

Organize own work schedule to ensure service level agreements and turnaround times are met across processes. Coordinate with support teams and assign short-term tasks where necessary to ensure operational efficiency.

Operations Management

Carry out operational tasks by following established processes and controls within MAX LSI.

This will involve reviewing information, validating requirements, updating multiple systems, and ensuring transactions meet quality and performance standards.

Operational Compliance

Develop and maintain a working knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and industry standards applicable to investment administration and MAX LSI processes. Adhere to mandatory controls, governance requirements, and compliance standards to ensure all work is completed accurately and within required guidelines.

Personal Capability Building

Develop and maintain excellent operational, technical, and process knowledge through training, coaching, assessments, and development activities. Continuously build expertise across MAX LSI processes, operational systems, and related business procedures.

Additional Job Description

Follows standardized processes and provides administrative and operational support in line with normal business functioning within the MAX LSI environment.

Delivers on daily production standards, turnaround times, service levels, and quality requirements across transaction types.

Provides an indirect service to customers, intermediaries, and internal stakeholders by ensuring accurate and timely transaction processing.

Responds to immediate operational requirements within established procedures and controls.

Uses standard administrative and operational techniques to coordinate and prioritize own work effectively.

Supports the administration and processing of:

Product and process knowledge across investment administration functions may differ, but core operational and administrative skills remain consistent.

Moderate (intermediate) to high level of technical and systems knowledge required.

Partially multi-skilled across MAX LSI products, processes, and operational systems relevant to the business area.

Requirements:

Matric (Post Matric will be Advantageous)

Advantageous: Working knowledge or exposure to Omunet, Bizagi, Chorus, EMS, CMoS, and Bancs; understanding of MAX Investments, OM Investments, and Savings & Investments (S&I); ability to effectively use EMS; understanding of distribution channels; and previous experience in servicing customers and financial advisers.
