The Junior Intercompany Accountant is responsible for:
- Capturing all intercompany invoices on weekly basis
- Invoicing, confirming supporting documents, ensuring month-end invoice deadlines.
- Reconcile all Intercompany accounts monthly:
- Prepare reconciliations,
- Gather support,
- Perform matching,
- Confirm intercompany balances on monthly basis
- Track differences and escalate unresolved items.
- Preparing payment remittances on weekly basis, including documents required for payments to be processed:
- Capture remittance details, match invoices/accounts, maintain allocation tracker, and escalate unclear items.
- Ensure all intercompany payments are matched,
- Allocate documents to correct entities, customers, suppliers, shipments, or transactions and follow up on missing records.
- Provide audit support to Senior Accountants concerning intercompany accounts
- Assist with ad-hoc queries raised by Finance Manager – West Africa
The Junior Intercompany Accountant has the following quality responsibilities:
