The City of Polokwane Municipality invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for their twelve (12) month performance – based contract trainee System Ambassador Programme (X27 Posts) in Transportation Services. The closing date for applications is the 30th March 2023
- Position: Leeto La Polokwane System Ambassador x27 Posts
- Salary: R8000.00 per month

Requirements:
Grade 12, National Diploma (Customer Care, Marketing, Communication, or Transport Management) and 3-months’ minimum relevant experience in the Leeto la Polokwane Bus Operations or any other Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) System will be an added advantage. (Trained and have an understanding of the system and operations).
Duties:
Validating and selling papers tickets on-board the bus, Account-based Ticketing (ABT) card re-loading (using bank cards) on-board the bus, LLP Customer Care support in the buses and everything else related to the bus services.
Preference will be given to candidates from designated groups in line with the provisions of the Employment Equity Act, and the council’s employment equity plan or targets and goals. For this reason, we require that Race, Gender, and Disability status be specified.
NOTE: Suitable candidates will be subjected to a personnel suitability check (Criminal record, Citizenship, credit record, qualifications verification, and employment verifications). Where applicable candidates will be subjected to a skills/ knowledge test.
