The South African Mobile Devices Distributors and Repairers Association (SAMDDRA) invites unemployed South African youth to apply for their Cellphone Repair Training Programme. The closing date for applications is the 8th July 2024
South African Citizen in areas surrounding the following TVET Colleges are invited to apply for Cellphone Repair Training Programme:
- Majuba in Newcastle (KwaZulu Natal province)
- Capricorn TVET College in Polokwane (Limpopo Province)
- West Coast in Malmesbury and Atlantis (Cape Town, Western Cape)
- Boland in Stellenbosch and Worcester (Western Cape)
- South Cape in George (Western Cape)
- Motheo in Bloemfontein (Free State province)
- Westcol in Mogale City (Gauteng Province)
- Buffalo City in Buffalo City (Eastern Cape)
- Northen Cape Urban in Kimberly (Northern Cape)
- Northern Cape Rural in Upington, Kathu and Kuruman (Northern Cape)
- Taletso in Mahikeng (North West Province)
- Tekwini in Durban (KwaZulu Natal Province)
- Port Elizabeth in Gqeberha (Eastern Cape Province)
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Be a South African citizen
- Preferably less than 40 years old
- With proof of residence for the selected area (from local police, councilor or valid statements)
- Unemployed and fully available for the duration of the training,
- NQ4 Level qualification (Matric or equivalent) with English, Maths or Maths Literacy or Commercial subjects,
- Recognition or Prior Learning (RPL) in cellphone repairs exceptionally considered
- Youth, women and people with liabilities receive first preference
