The City of Umhlathuze invites unemployed persons to apply for their Casual General Worker Vacancies (X20 Posts). The closing date for applications is the 22nd November 2024

POSTS: CASUAL GENERAL WORKERS X20

  • Department: Community Services
  • Basic Salary: R349.00 per day worked

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 5 or equivalent
  • Functional literacy
  • Communication skills
  • Must be prepared to work during weekends and public holidays

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Keep the beaches and the beach facilities in a clean and hygienic condition (including litter picking, sweeping of the carparks, cleaning ablution facilities and raking of beaches)
  • Assist with weeding, pruning trees, shrubs and trimming hedges
  • Ensure tools and equipment are in working order.
