POST 1: SENIOR BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ANALYST
VACANCY NO: 07 of 2024/25
TYPE & GRADE: PERMANENT, C4
LOCATION: CAPE TOWN
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum requirements:
- Degree or National Diploma in Information systems/technology.
- 6-8 years’ experience in the ICT domain
- Advanced knowledge of MS SQL
- Intermediate knowledge of MS SSRS
- Knowledge of data warehousing
- 6 years’ experience in a data analysis role
- Experience in development of reports/dashboards.
Preferred
- Postgraduate Diploma in Information systems or related degree.
- Short courses related to report development and SQL.
- Short courses related to Data warehousing, Data management and Data Architecture
- Experience in working in PowerBI.
- Knowledge in data modelling, both logical and physical
- Knowledge of key BI trends
- Experience in the higher education sector.
- Knowledge of SSIS
- Knowledge of ETL
POST 2: DATA ANALYST
VACANCY NO: 08 of 2024/25
TYPE & GRADE: PERMANENT, C3
LOCATION: CAPE TOWN
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, Engineering, Project Management or related.
- 4-6 Years’ experience in the ICT Domain of which at least 3 should be focused on Data Analysis
- Advanced knowledge of SQL/Python/BI.
- Technical proficiency regarding database design, data models, techniques for data mining and segmentation.
- Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel
- Advanced experience in database management.
Preferred
- Post Grad Degree in Data Science Engineering or related Degree.
- Data Engineering Certifications
- Cloud Computing Certifications
- Project management Skills
- Knowledge of the higher education sector
- Knowledge of SSSIS
- Knowledge of data warehousing
- In depth knowledge of automation, database querying and stored procedures a must
