What You’ll Actually Be Doing
This internship is structured so that you learn while doing, under the mentorship of experienced SHEQ professionals.
Occupational Health & Safety
You’ll help implement and support:
- Workplace OHS plans
- Compliance with OHS Act regulations
- Monitoring the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Environment & Risk Management
You’ll assist with:
- Occupational hygiene and safety risk assessments
- Identifying hazards and supporting preventative measures
- Environmental compliance activities
Audits, Admin & Compliance
You’ll be involved in:
- SHEQ workplace audits
- Administrative support for SHEQ systems
- Reporting and documentation
- Ad hoc SHEQ-related tasks across departments
Professional Development
You’ll also:
- Attend workshops and training
- Engage internal and external stakeholders
- Build professional communication and reporting skills
