Successful applicants will receive R36 000 per year, paid directly into their university account for the second, third, and fourth years of study.

Who Can Apply?
To qualify for the ADSA Bursary Programme 2026, applicants must meet all of the following:
- Be a first-year dietetic student
You must currently be in your first year OR have just completed your first year.
Second-year students are not eligible.
- No postgraduate students
Only undergraduate learners studying dietetics may apply.
- Demonstrate financial need
You must provide proof showing you genuinely require financial support.
- Show leadership qualities
Applicants must demonstrate involvement, commitment, or leadership potential.
- Be a South African citizen
Valid South African ID required.
What the Bursary Covers
- Annual funding of R36 000 paid directly into your university account
- Funding continues for your 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year (subject to meeting conditions)
