About the Day Mothers Programme

Who should Apply
- Applicants must reside in Lesedi Local Municipality
- Must be a South African citizen with a valid Identifying Document between the ages of 18 and 59 years old.
- Must have a safe operating space in line with the National Norms and Standards.
- Day Mother must already be operating as Mothers and for a minimum period of 3 months to a maximum of one year.
- Day Mother must at least have Early Childhood Development level 1 (advantageous).
- Must not have a criminal record/ appear on Child Protection Register/sexual offences affidavit (Candidates will be vetted).
- Only one Day Mother permitted to operate in one yard.
