WHAT IS THE CONTROL ROOM OPERATORS SECURITY INTERNSHIP?
This graduate internship is specifically designed for young South Africans who hold relevant qualifications in Security Management, Safety Management, or Policing. Successful candidates will gain hands-on experience in control room operations, which includes monitoring surveillance systems (CCTV), handling communication equipment, responding to incidents in real time, and assisting with incident reporting across DOJ&CD facilities.
Control rooms play a critical role in the operational efficiency of justice facilities. They are central to ensuring the safety of staff, the protection of infrastructure, and the swift response to emergencies. This internship gives graduates the opportunity to work under experienced security personnel and technical operators, developing the skills needed to thrive in both government and private sector security roles.

WHO SHOULD APPLY:
Unemployed South African graduates with a qualification on the above-mentioned field of study, who has not previously participated in any internship programme.
These internships are based in all REGIONS. Candidates who wish to apply for internship outside their respective Regions must be willing and able to find their own accommodation considering that they will not earn a salary but only a stipend.
