Youth unemployment in South Africa remains one of the most pressing challenges of our time—but amidst this crisis, young changemakers are stepping up to lead, uplift, and transform their communities. Youth Capital, a youth-led advocacy campaign focused on tackling youth unemployment, is calling on passionate young leaders from Mpumalanga and Northern Cape to join their dynamic team of Community Facilitators.

What Does a Community Facilitator Do?
As a Youth Capital Community Facilitator, you’ll play a pivotal role in igniting local conversations that lead to national impact. You will be at the heart of your community’s voice, ensuring that local stories, challenges, and victories contribute to shaping a better future for all young South Africans.
Your responsibilities include:
- Hosting monthly sessions that unpack critical youth issues, from education and skills development to job creation and policy impact.
- Gathering and sharing stories from your community to fuel Youth Capital’s advocacy on a national level.
- Developing your leadership capacity, with access to support and skills-building resources.
- Mobilising local youth, creating spaces for collaboration and action.
Are You Ready to Lead the Movement?
Youth Capital is looking for young, motivated, and community-focused individuals from Mpumalanga and the Northern Cape who are eager to drive change where it’s needed most.
Minimum Requirements:
- Aged between 18–35 years
- Proven experience in community leadership
- A passion for youth development and advocacy
- Ability to speak confidently and facilitate discussions
