About the Young Professionals in Training Graduate Programme
The YPIT Programme provides graduates with real workplace exposure through a structured training experience. Participants work alongside industry experts, receive mentoring, and gain practical experience across different procurement, finance, compliance, and administrative functions.
Programme Purpose
To equip graduates with hands-on experience, technical abilities, and organisational insight through rotational learning and structured guidance.
What You Will Do (Position Outputs)
As a Young Professional in Training, you will:
- Deliver specific administrative and project tasks within your assigned department.
- Shadow senior staff, attend workshops, and participate in learning activities.
- Communicate with customers to understand requirements and provide updates on progress.
- Act as a central contact point for suppliers and end-user queries.
- Assist with general administration, research, and data collection.
- Take work instructions from mentors and specialists, and structure tasks effectively.
- Execute project assignments independently and collaboratively.
- Prepare high-quality reports using MS Word or PowerPoint.
- Produce professional work to support project solutions and organisational decisions.

Experience
- 0–1 year of experience in:

- Internal controls

- Exposure to PFMA or public-sector regulatory frameworks is an added advantage.
