Programme Purpose

The Toyota Maintenance Learnership Programme provides structured theory and practical training in key manufacturing and maintenance disciplines. Learners will gain the skills needed to support maintenance operations within a high-performance automotive plant.

During the programme, learners will receive training in:

  • Working effectively in a team
  • Hand tools usage and workplace safety
  • Assembly and manufacturing processes
  • Engineering drawing and marking off
  • Welding basics
  • Operating and monitoring production machinery
  • Surface preparation
  • Firefighting
  • Operations and dispatch procedures

Upon successful completion, learners will earn a National Qualifications Framework (NQF) Level 3 Certificate, boosting their employability within the automotive and engineering environment.

    • Mathematics & Physical Science or Engineering Science
    • Electrical Trade Theory

    • Graphical Design
