Programme Purpose
The Toyota Maintenance Learnership Programme provides structured theory and practical training in key manufacturing and maintenance disciplines. Learners will gain the skills needed to support maintenance operations within a high-performance automotive plant.
During the programme, learners will receive training in:
- Working effectively in a team
- Hand tools usage and workplace safety
- Assembly and manufacturing processes
- Engineering drawing and marking off
- Welding basics
- Operating and monitoring production machinery
- Surface preparation
- Firefighting
- Operations and dispatch procedures
Upon successful completion, learners will earn a National Qualifications Framework (NQF) Level 3 Certificate, boosting their employability within the automotive and engineering environment.

To qualify for the 2026/2027 Toyota Maintenance Learnership, applicants must meet the following criteria:

- Electrical Trade Theory
