With an increasing demand for skilled professionals in this discipline, the Swartland Municipality’s internship programme bridges the gap between academic theory and practical application. Interns are immersed in the municipality’s risk framework, gaining insights into policy development, risk registers, internal controls, and audit processes.
WHO CAN APPLY?
To be considered, applicants must:
- Be between the ages of 18 and 35.
- Possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate commitment to public service and ethical conduct.
- Be available for a 24 month full-time internship.
- NQF 6 or higher qualification in Risk Management, Internal Auditing or equivalent qualification and must include subjects such as Internal Auditing and Risk Management
- Computer literate in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Outlook
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good Afrikaans/English writing skills
- Presentation skills
- Valid Code B driver’s license will serve as a recommendation
