POST 1: BUTCHERY SPECIALIST
LOCATION: OLIFANTSFONTEIN

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION
- Matric
- Butchery related qualification
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in Butchery Management
- Drivers Licence
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated and a team player
- Excellent training and coaching skills
- In depth understanding of the meat trade and current market conditions
POST 2: GROUP SUPPLIER DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST
LOCATION: PINETOWN
CLOSING DATE: 28 SEPTEMBER 2022
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION
- Business related qualification e.g. Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Public Health
- Post graduate qualification advantageous
- Food safety management systems Certification e.g. ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, BRC, HACCP, PRP’s
- 3 years’ experience in a hygiene audit/quality role in food manufacturing and/or 3 years’ experience in hospitality, retail, FMCG and/or 2 years’ experience in food safety training.
POST 3: BUTCHERY MANAGER
LOCATION: CAPE TOWN
CLOSING DATE: 30 SEPTEMBER 2022
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION
- A Matric Certificate with Mathematics / Accounting as a subject.
- A Grade 1 Meat Cutting Certificate or Recognised Butchery Apprenticeship / Learnership is preferred.
- A clear criminal record.
- At least 5 years’ experience in all aspects of day to day running and managing of a meat market.
- At least 2 years’ retail experience in fresh foods departments.
- Computer Literate.
- Self-motivated, Self-dedicated and Self-determined with a creative flair.
- Strong numerical skills.
- Have a high level of integrity.
- Have strong problem-solving skills.
- Be able to manage staff and diversity.
- Be able to work under pressure.
- Be able to be firm and resolute in decisions with a high degree of discipline.
- Be fluent in English.
