SASSA Various Open Vacancies. The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for their various open vacancies. The Closing Date for applications are the 28th September & 3rd October 2022

POST 1: LOCAL OFFICE MANAGER

SALARY: R882 042 – R1 038 999 P.A. INCLUSIVE OF BENEFITS

REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidates should hold a Relent B. Degree or a 3 years tertiary qualification (NQF Level 6 or 7 with the minimum credits 360) coupled with 1-2 years management experience in the relevant field;
  • Knowledge of SASSA’s Constitutional mandate, relevant policies and legislation in Public Management;
  • Knowledge of social security management and poverty alleviation matters.
  • Computer and a valid driver’s license are essential.

  • Candidates should hold an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 7) as recognized by SAQA in the relevant field coupled with 5 years of experience at a middle/senior managerial level in the relevant field;
  • Certificate for entry into the SMS (Senior Management Service) endorsed by the National School of Government;
  • Knowledge of SASSA’s constitutional mandate and relevant policies and legislation;
  • Knowledge of social security management and poverty alleviation matters;
  • Computer literacy and a valid driver’s license are essential.
  • A post graduate qualification (NQF level 08) in the relevant field will be an added Advantage

POST 6: SENIOR MANAGER: FRAUD AND CORRUPTION INVESTIGATIONS (RE-ADVERTISEMENT)

REF NO: SAS 07/09/2022-14

LOCATION: HEAD OFFICE – PRETORIA

SALARY: R 1 073 187 – R 1 264 176 P.A. INCLUSIVE OF BENEFITS

CLOSING DATE: 03 OCTOBER 2022

REQUIREMENTS

  • The candidates should hold an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 7 such as BA law, B Juris, BCom law, BProc LLB, Forensic Investigations or Auditing, Policing, Criminology or related) as recognized by SAQA coupled with 5 years’ experience at a manager’s level in the forensic/fraud investigations or law enforcement specializing in commercial crimes;
  • Certificate for entry into the SMS (Senior Management Service) endorsed by the National School of Government;
  • The incumbent must have a broader understanding of the Public Services Management Framework as well the SASSA Act;
  • Computer literacy and a valid driver’s license are essential. A post graduate qualification (NQF level 08) and/ or Certified Fraud Examiner certificate will be an added advantage.
