What is the Sanlam YEP Learnership?

This 12-month programme targets young, enthusiastic individuals from designated groups. It provides both theoretical training and practical experience, culminating in a nationally recognised Certificate in Wealth Management (NQF Level 4). It’s more than a foot in the door — it’s the start of a full development pipeline leading to permanent employment at junior level for top-performing learners.

Your Role During the Programme

  • Attend classroom-based learning sessions

  • Carry out responsibilities outlined by your manager

Are You Eligible?

To apply, you must:

  • Be a South African citizen, aged 18–35 years
  • Be currently unemployed
  • Not hold a tertiary qualification
  • Have Grade 12 with at least 50% in Maths/Maths Literacy/Accounting and English
  • Be fluent in spoken and written English
  • Commit to 12 months full-time participation
  • Have no criminal or credit record
  • Have reliable transport access
