ABOUT THE SABN ENGINEERING APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMME
The SABN Engineering Apprenticeship Programme is a multi-year, SETA-accredited training opportunity focused on producing qualified artisans in disciplines such as:
- Millwright
- Fitters and Turners
- Electricians
- Instrumentation Mechanics
Participants undergo rigorous theoretical and practical training, often in partnership with reputable training providers and TVET colleges. The aim is to prepare apprentices for the National Trade Test, which certifies them as competent artisans under the guidance of the Department of Employment and Labour.

- Duration: 36 Months depending on the trade.

WHO CAN APPLY?

- Matric with 50% pass for Mathematics and Physical Science
- N2 to N6 certificate in Electrical or Mechanical (Fitter, HVAC and Millwright) Engineering (indicating the relevant trade theory)
- Preference will be given to applicants considered as South African Youth (under the age of 35)
