In a bid to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical workplace experience, the Msunduzi Skills Centre, in partnership with the Media, Information and Communication Technologies Sector Education and Training Authority (MICT SETA), has launched a fully funded 12-month learnership programme. This initiative is tailored specifically for 25 unemployed TVET graduates who hold either an N6 in Marketing Management or N6 in Public Relations and are ready to gain crucial work exposure.
About the Programme
This exciting programme aims to provide workplace-based experiential learning for students who have completed their theoretical components and now require practical experience to obtain their full qualification. As part of the MICT SETA’s commitment to youth development and employment readiness, this learnership is structured to equip learners with industry-relevant skills, enhance their employability, and contribute meaningfully to South Africa’s workforce.
Successful candidates will be placed in a work environment where they can apply their academic knowledge to real-life challenges in the fields of marketing or public relations. Throughout the 12-month period, learners will also benefit from mentorship, professional development, and guided learning—all while receiving a monthly stipend of R3,800.
