General Requirements
- Must be a South African citizen

- Preference for qualifications directly related to the building and construction industry

- Must be registered OR applying to a recognised institution of learning, including the Master Builders KZN Institute of Learning
- Study programme must be career-oriented, focusing on skills needed in the building sector
- Funding is awarded for one academic year
- Students who do not receive feedback by February 2026 should consider their application unsuccessful
