The Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) has officially opened its 2026/2027 University Graduate & TVET Internship Programme, offering paid, structured work experience across all provinces and at national level.

Who Can Apply?

To qualify, applicants must meet ALL of the following:

  • Be South African
  • Be unemployed
  • Be between 18 and 35 years old
  • Have never participated in a similar internship programme before
  • Hold one of the following:
    • N6 Certificate (TVET stream)
    • NQF Level 7 qualification (Graduate stream)
  • Submit:

Do NOT submit copies of qualifications at application stage — only shortlisted candidates will be asked later.
