Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the ILASA Bursary Programme 2026, applicants must meet ALL the following minimum requirements:

Basic Eligibility

  • Must be a South African citizen
  • Must submit a complete application form
  • Must provide proof of financial need (parents’ payslips, income proof, grant documents)

Academic Requirements

  • Matric/Grade 12 learners:
    • Minimum 60% aggregate in English, Mathematics and Physical Sciences
  • Current university students:
    • Minimum 60% average in the previous academic year
    • Must provide a full academic transcript

Programme Requirements

  • Must be accepted or registered for a Landscape Architecture programme accredited by SACLAP
  • Must meet the entrance requirements of the chosen university
  • Programme must be recognized by ILASA
