GENERAL WORKER VACANCIES (X2 POSTS) AT AFRIMAT MINING SERVICES | APPLY WITH MATRIC

Afrimat Mining Services invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for their General Worker Vacancies (X2 Posts). The closing date for applications is the 29th July 2024

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Grade 12 and/or experience in a similar environment
  • Be literate and functionally numerate
  • Possess basic knowledge of machinery
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Be self-disciplined and able to work without supervision
  • Ability to work within the team
  • Ability to assist with manual labour and plant maintenance
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Be able to work irregular hours which may include night work

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (NOT LIMITED TO):

  • Assist with performing daily pre-start inspection checks.
  • Assist with general maintenance tasks on or around the plant when requested, under supervision
  • Clean all spillage according to safety guidelines
  • Adhere to all Health + Safety Standards to ensure safe working practices
  • Assist with all screen changes
  • Report any general elementary problems to immediate Supervisor on site
  • Attend to any other ad hoc duties as requested
