Cooperative Governance Graduate Internship Programme (X21 Posts) 2026/2028

 

 

The Department of Cooperative Governance is looking for ambitious South African graduates to apply for its Graduate Internship Programme (X21 Posts). This exciting program is meant to give young professionals real-world experience working in government and give them the power to help improve service delivery in municipalities and provinces.

The program lasts for 24 months and gives interns a structured environment where they can work with experienced professionals. This will help them gain the skills and confidence they need to start successful careers in the public service sector.

For Internship Programme: Applicants should not have previously served as an intern or have been a contract worker in the Public Service (including Local Government)/Private Sector before the application. (Failure to disclose this will lead to disqualification/ dismissal)
