Academic Qualification

  • National Diploma / NQF Level 6 in Real Estate: Property Valuation, or
  • A qualification recognised by the South African Council for the Property Valuers Profession

Professional Registration

  • Valid registration with the South African Council for the Property Valuers Profession as:
    • Candidate Valuer, or
    • Professional Associated Valuer

Experience

  • Computer literacy (MS Word & Excel preferred)
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Own transport

Primary Function of the Internship

As a Valuer Intern, your core purpose is to support and participate in all aspects of property valuation work required for the compilation and maintenance of the City’s valuation rolls.

You’ll gradually be developed into a technical valuation expert, capable of contributing meaningfully to municipal valuation processes under professional supervision.
