POSITIONS: ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER (3 POSTS)

REFERENCE CODE:HOSD117-2025 (E)

ESTIMATED REMUNERATION PACKAGE:R340 769,00 – R460 882,00 per annum

JOB PURPOSE

To conduct administration of the national Housing Needs Register (housing database) and housing subsidy applications, and provide
logistical and general administrative support, including on title deeds matters, in the section

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12
  • At least six months’ relevant experience in an administration support environment with knowledge of housing subsidies and title deeds
  • Must undergo a criminal record check and such a person shall allow their fingerprints to be taken by the Tshwane Metro Police
  • Department at own cost
  • Computer literacy

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS :

  • Handle enquiries and complaints telephonically and in person
  • Collate statistics and other related data and information in the section
  • Maintain the filing system
  • Compile minutes of meetings in the section as tasked
  • Liaise with beneficiaries to collect title deeds and other housing-related matters
  • Open new housing files. Liaise with Group Financial Services regarding the billing of consumer accounts and payment of deposits
  • Conduct data capturing and typing of correspondence
  • Handle all other administrative duties as and when instructed by superiors
